What is the proper way to winerize a fig tree? You don't want the root system to freeze, that is a big deal. Burlap is ok, but make sure that the warm weather is allo ver & then wrapping in white plastic is best. Dark or clear plastic may cause heat/ humidity to collect and lead to disease.
