Is it better to bag my lawn clippings or let them lay on the lawn? Try bagging them every other time you cut the grass. Grass clippings (provided that you haven't let the stand of grass get overly long) will help to replace the nitrogen in the soil if you let it lay when you mow your lawn. The grass clippings lay up against the root system of the growing grass & helps it retain moisture. Be careful because letting thick, wet grass lay on your lawn instead of bagging it can result in some lawn disease & mold. |
