What are grub worms & how can I prevent them from damaging my lawn? Grubs are an insect infestation. Grubs themselves are quite ugly with their whice C-shaped bodies & brown heads. Grubs weaken your grass at the roots. Other signs of grubs are sudden wilt of the grass, indicating the roots are being attacked. Also, if you notice patches of dying grass in your lawn even when there has been adequate water, this could be a sign that you have grubs. Please check out the articles section of this Members Only website & look at the article on grubs. If you have further questions or are in need of a lawn consultation, please call Hansen's & we can arrange for a lawncare profession to come to assess the needs of your lawn. |
