President & Owner of Hansen’s Tree Service. Jeff is also a certified arborist who consults on projects for cities, municipalities & commercial projects. Jeff sits on the board of Pro Hunt Charities which works each August to produce a sporting clays shooting tournament to benefit Camp Rainbow (a camp for kids with cancer that is held each year at Babler State Park).
Jeff is an avid hunter, who enjoys hunting water foul both locally & abroad. Jeff splits his time between both of the Hansen’s Tree Service locations in the St. Louis Metro area & the Branson/ Springfield office. Jeff & his wife Shelli have two children, Chad & Ciera.
Chief arborist for Hansen’s Tree Service. Jesse is responsible for responding to the calls for tree care in the St. Louis Metro area. Jesse has worked for Hansen’s for the past 21 years. Jesse bids both residential & municipal work in the metro area. Jesse also serves as the sales operations manager for Hansen’s Tree Service.
Jesse and his family reside in St. Charles & they enjoy camping each summer.
VP of Sales and arborist for Hansen’s Tree Service. Kenny has been with Hansen’s for the past 17 years. He began his career with Hansen’s in the lawn care division but after becoming a certified arborist, moved to the tree care division. Kenny is responsible for assessing and bidding all commercial grinding operations work for Hansen’s Environmental Wood Resources.
Kenny & his wife Carlina reside in St. Peters & enjoy motor sports, motor cycle riding & camping.
Arborist for St. Charles County. Russ started with Hansen’s as a member of a tree crew. Over time he developed an interest in arboriculture and got his certification as an ISA Certified Arborist. Russ has been an arborist with Hansen’s for the past 7 years & is the chief arborist for St. Charles County. Russ primarily bids residential and some municipal tree work.
Russ & his wife Jen & their daughter reside in Wentzville. Russ enjoys music & plays the guitar. Sometimes you might catch him playing at a local coffee house or pub. He enjoys spending as much time as he can enjoying the outdoors with his wife & daughter.
Certified Arborist. Joe started with Hansen’s tree service as a tree care worker. He decided to pursue his love of trees by becoming an ISA Certified arborist. He has been diagnosing tree disease, and bidding work for all aspects of tree trimming for the past 4 years at Hansen’s Tree Service. Joe works in both St. Louis & St. Charles Counties and at times still enjoys getting out & working with our crews to make sure the newer workers are being trained properly.
Joe and his wife Alicia & son Chase enjoy spending free time together & doing family activities. Joe also enjoys hunting & sports with Chase.
Jeff is in charge of our recycling operations. Working with cities & municipalities to handle there wood waste removal needs is Jeff’s specialty. Hansen’s help to divert tons of recyclable wood waste from the area landfills to our facility instead where it is turned into a useable product.
In his free time, Jeff enjoys working outside & just being outdoors.
Arborist & Mulch Operations Manager. Bub is in charge of the mulch making division of Hansen’s. Whether it’s perfecting the grind of our premium organic blended mulch or working with the colorizer to achieve the perfect rich tones of our mulch, Bub is the one behind all things mulch at Hansen’s.
In his free time, Bub enjoys motor sports & motorcycle riding.
Chief Mechanic. Tom has a huge responsibility at Hansen’s. It is his job to keep the fleet of 70+ trucks in fine working order. That is a huge task. He is also responsible for repairing any equipment that may have a problem on site. This is especially important during commercial clearing work when production schedules are tight.
Brooke Davis is in charge of Accounts Payable, Payroll & Human Resources for Hansen's Tree Service. Needless to say Brooke is constantly busy. She joined Hansen's for the second time in December of 2009 but she worked here from 1997-2000 & we are thrilled that she wanted to come back!
Brooke has the best laugh & just hearing it makes a day better. When she isn't working she's busy with her two kids' ages 2 & 4 and her husband. Brooke enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, camping, and doing any sort of outdoor activities & she's an excellent cook & enjoys her time in the kitchen.
Adam joined Hansen's in late fall of 2010. Anyone who has ever worked in the turf industry knows that fall is THE high time of the entire year so Adam was very brave to jump into the challenging position of Lawn care Manager for Hansen's Tree, Lawn & Landscaping Services. He is a Missouri State Certified Applicator, Turf Professional & Landscape problem solver. He is also working on becoming a certified arborist.
In his off time Adam enjoys hunting, fishing, gardening & spending time with his wife & their two daughters.
Candice does mulch & compost sales for Hansen's. She has five years of experience in the nursery industry so she is well versed in trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals. If you've ever wanted to know why compost is good for your lawn & garden or why you should select blended hardwood mulch over"oak only" mulch, Candice can give you all of the reasons & science behind it.
In her time off she enjoys spending time with her two daughters going to cheerleading competitions, shopping & camping. We also can't forget that Candice is also the loving "dog Mom" to Chase.
Melanie joined Hansen's in March of 2009 and does Accounts Receivable for Hansen's Tree Service. Her outgoing personality makes her a natural for customer contact & her attention to detail made her a perfect choice for being in charge of Receivables.
Melanie and her husband Trent have two sons that they enjoy going to sporting events with & participating in a large variety of school & sports activities. In the summer Melanie and her family enjoy boating & all sorts of outdoor activities. When she isn't with her family she enjoys some great friendships & is often planning some type of fun "girlfriend gatherings".
Chad joined Hansen's as a full time employee upon his graduation from college in May of 2010 but Chad has been working in various capacities around Hansen's since he was 16yrs old. As the son of Hansen owner Jeff Hansen, Chad learned about trees from a very early age. He has worked in just about every division of the company from tree crew, to tub crew to various sales functions. As a full time employee Chad now is in charge of the Safety Department & works closely with Brooke Davis in H/R managing those functions as well. Chad is an ISA Certified Arborist & also has been accredited by the TCIA (Tree Care Industry Association) as a CTSP- Certified Tree Safety Professional. Combining the skills of safety & arboriculture, Chad has the unique skill to bid jobs with full knowledge of what it will take to get the job done safely.
When Chad isn't working at Hansen's he enjoys boating, water sports, all types of outdoor sports activities and is an excellent marksman & enjoys the challenge of shooting sports.
Shawen joined Hansen's in 2008 and since that time has done a wide variety of duties. Shawen has received his CTSP (Certified Tree Care Safety Professional) Accreditation from the TCIA (Tree Care Industry Association) in 2010. Shawen assists Safety Manager Chad Hansen in insuring the proper safety of tree and lawn crews. Shawen is also important in the maintenance of our shop area making sure that things are neat & orderly. Shawen has also worked on a variety of tree & tub crews over his time with Hansen's.
When Shawen isn't working at Hansen's helping lead tree crews, he is a minister helping lead people to Christ. He enjoys spending as much time as possible with his wife & children enjoying a variety of outdoor activities.
Kelley Klipp joined Hansen's in the Fall of 2010 and is the Tree Division Administrator. She works closely with our Certified Arborists and each customer who calls in for tree care. Kelley & her husband John have two sons & in their off time keep busy attending the boys sporting events & also enjoy boating. Kelley says "in the summer, you can always find us on the water."
Tara Merli joined Hansen's in the Spring of 2011 as our Receptionist. At Hansen's the position of receptionist is one of THE most important jobs because Tara provides the first line of communication & service. That's why we actually like to call her "The Director of First Impressions".
Tara and her husband, Gus have a daughter and a son. They keep busy by attending the kids sporting events, spending time with a loving family and great friends. During the summer they enjoy boating and spending time at Bull Shoals Lake and by the pool.
