Chalie Kennedy- President of the Greenwood Cemetery Project sent us a very nice thank you note for helping with their cemetery clean up project.  We were glad we could be of help in grinding up some 25 stumps & all the tree debris that  the volunteers worked so hard to clear.   Check out the YouTube Video at  www.greenwoodcemeterystl.com  it will inspire you!   Your progress with volunteer efforts is to be commended!   We are so glad to be associated with people like Etta Daniels & Willie Daniels who started this project back in the mind 80′s.  Thanks for helping reclaim some St. Louis history!  Amy- Hansen’s Tree Service

What are horticultural oils & what do they do?

Answer

Horticultural oils are ultra fine, manmade oils with no toxic properties.  They are used as a pest control.  The oil irritates the insects & suffocates the eggs of many different kinds of pests.  There are a variety of horticultural oils available (some used / available more than others).  Application times (product dependent) range from winter dormant season to summertime’s active growth periods.
